every time i try to log on it keep saying "acquiring IP" ... it was fine earlier, but now the IP message keep popping up...

Try to reinstall the game. Turn off your firewall. If all else fail, do a power cycle. Means turns off your equipment all then turn it back on one at a time. The modem first, next the router then the computer. Hope this helps.
Or yes you might have been ban from the site or server.

There was a server crash earlier from the host side so maybe that caused ur problem. But server is online now so if u still can't connect, follow eville's suggestion
